There is about 9 inches of ice by the pump house and 10-11inches in the bays. Fishing before sunrise has been the best and right before sun down.
Please also use caution when going out and also check the ice thickness before stepping out.
Here are a few tips for fly fishing Georgetown Lake:
1. A balanced leech stripped or under an indicator is the best method right now.
2. Stripping a wooly bugger or an egg under an indicator
3. Cover water and be methodical and you'll catch fish!

1. Black balanced leech

3. Maroon balanced leech
4. Ice cream cone head chironomid
